So, I quietly make my way in the kitchen. No candy, no cookies, nothing! I debated opening a bag of Tollhouse chocolate baking chips from the freezer…nah! That won’t help. Tearing through the cabinet, I found a can of chocolate frosting but put it back. I didn’t want Rick to walk into the kitchen and find me hunched, wild-eyed over the frosting cans eating it with my bare fingers. Actually, I’m pretty impressed with myself for having the self-control to put the can back in the pantry. High-five to myself!
Anyway, on with my search! Finally, a box of brownie mix on the back shelf. Is this expired? Oh well? How can powder mix go bad? I’ll risk it! I’m desperate! At this point, I’m ready to rip open the mix bag with my teeth, and I’m feeling a bit like that crazy guy on SpongeBob Squarepants that follows SpongeBob and Patrick around screaming “CHOCOLATE! CHOCOLATE!” If you missed that episode, believe me-it’s not a pretty sight!
Managed to mix the brownies and put them in the oven. I knocked down the craving a little by sticking my head in the bowl and licking out the leftover batter. Before the brownies were even out, I started to feel a little sick to my tummy. Maybe too much batter!
As soon as they were out, I ate one right out of the pan, but it didn’t fulfill my chocolate craving beside all it tasted like was red-hot magma! Once they cooled I had two more and laid down with a tummy ache but no chocolate craving! Mission accomplished!
Then, my Mom accidently dialed my number at 1 am and I had a small anxiety attack on the way to the phone. I thought “Oh crap, someone’s dead!” Why else would anyone in their right mind call me at 1 am ?!?
Anyway, Now I’m wide awake, stressed, and craving chocolate again. I think I will go finish off the rest of the pan.
I hope I wake up with a vegetable craving tomorrow or someone is going to have to come over here with a stomach pump! Ugggg!
Love you much,
